Thank you for taking the time out to become a part of this effort. What is this effort you may ask? Its relatively simple and is that of the sites name: To EDIFY.
This blog is a long time in the making. God gave me instruction some time ago to start an informative site such as this. Many of you who know me personally are aware of my “Daily Inspiration” emails that I sent out at the top of the morning. My mother asked me a few years back, why did I stop sending the emails? To be honest with you, I knew that I was helping some, however when your not obtaining any feedback, you tend to let things fall to the wayside. Sometimes even your “Calling”. Yes – thats exactly what I said – we let our “God ordained assignment fall”. We do this for many reasons – the pressures of life, the busyness of life and just pure confusion on what it is your called to do and so when your not sure, in all of these things “you let it fall”. Facebook was a new venue for me to pick back up that assignment a few years ago. So – I started using that as the new vehicle. Well, in the age of the blogs and many different vehicles on spreading Gods word, and after sitting up for hours, not being able to sleep, frustrated at being frustrated, I stepped out.
Edify – To Build, To Establish, To Instruct, Uplift, Enlighten and Inform. (merriam-webster). Scripture Ref: 1 Thes 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, as you are already doing (NIV).
Come journey with me as I allow God to impart in me and I will in return give what He has given. God has given his Word which is intended as our roadmap and the direction for our lives.
