Trust The Process

trustDo You Trust – The Process?

We’re 1 Quarter down and 3 to Go…  What will you do to accomplish “Your 2014 Goals?”

Have you ever thought to yourself “It Must Be More To Life Than This” or “I feel like I’m Just Going Along to Get Along”

If that’s where you are or where you’ve found yourself before here are some next steps in picking up the momentum and getting yourself on track.

(1) Trust God in the “Process”

Know that God desires the “very best for your life.  Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not to your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path.

Many times we are uncomfortable where we are or feel like we are on the wrong path because we aren’t living out our “God Ordained” life.  We are living the life that we somehow got stuck in or we’ve tried many times to accomplish our passion but the many efforts we tried just didn’t seem to work.  I urge you to try again.  I urge you to seek God in prayer and meditation regarding what He has for your life.  There’s that small still voice inside that tells us to “go” to “stop” to “wait”, etc..  That voice is the Holy Spirit speaking to our very hearts about the matters in which we pray.  As you begin to seek God, pen your thoughts, your ideas and those answers that He provides you in your time of prayer and meditation.  Trust that if He brought you to it, He will bring you through it.  Trust Him that as you put your time, energy, and effort to this next task, next project, next idea, you will complete it – because you have trusted Him through the “Process”.  Anything worth having will take blood, sweat and tears to obtain.  It’s yours, Go Get It – But Go with God as your Helper.

(2) Realize Your Own Potential

What do you say about you?  I encourage you to start seeing and thinking better of yourself.  Oftentimes we look to others for advice, we look to others for help and assistance and we don’t look within ourselves.  Begin to see yourself as one who can accomplish whatever goal you set out to attain.  If it’s a project you look to start, gather books on the subject, read blogs and newsletters of those that have gone before you.  But NEVER look at yourself as not being able to achieve the goals you set.  Arm yourself with the tools needed to learn, you may have to seek help or advice from another but build your own knowledge base first.   You may not be a SME, but you will be well on the path to becoming one.

(3) Make Your Dreams A Reality

As you begin to step out and trust God you’ll find that you’re now under a microscope. Not just a microscope to yourself but a microscope to others.  Especially to those to whom you have expressed your thoughts, dreams and ideas too.  Make your dreams a reality by stepping out.  Know that Dreamers are Doers.  They put hard work and effort behind their dreams to make them a reality.  Believe in yourself that when you take this next step, you will complete that which you’ve started.  Shun the naysayers and those who can’t believe in you because they don’t believe in themselves.  Place yourself around like-minded people who will push you, cheer you on as well as hold you accountable.

(4) Step Out In Faith (Take small tangible steps)

Step out in Faith.  Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  Simply put – We can’t see it, but our belief system, our spirit man knows it’s out there and we take that energy to bring it forth into reality.

Enjoy The Journey.  God has given to each man a measure of Faith, He has given to each a gift and a talent.  Enjoy the journey knowing that you are on the path to fulfill that which you are called to do.  Whether its opening a business, going back to school, starting a new project, starting a new family, etc.  God has given you the power and the ability to make it come true.  Step out and trust God.  Take small, tangiable steps to making your dream a reality.  Fulfilling your dream is not a chore, but a journey to be enjoyed only by you and looked at as an adventure of learning and charting a new path.  Enjoy The Journey.
