Hey There Folks

Its been a while. Yep, as a matter of fact, its been quite some time. Anything after a few months and folks begin to wonder if you’re out of the game. Well – NOT SO… Here’s where I am… I took some much needed time off and began to reflect on areas in my life that needed fine-tuning. I spent time coaching and connecting with a select few who needed to finalize their next steps on going live with their business and/or assisted them in creating new strategies to support the outcomes that they desired to see. After that – it was all about ME. ME and what I needed to do, where I wanted to go and finding out what was NEXT. And that my friends, is not a bad thing.

Often-times we’re moving about just for the sake of being busy and you can find yourself hanging on by a thread because you haven’t taken the time to refocus. However, if you don’t reflect on your WHY, you’ll find yourself burned out, working to make things happen for others while feeling a sense of void yourself. Therefore, I committed myself to figure it out. And so here I am. All is well. New Team and a New Agenda.

But don’t stay there too long. While it’s ok to Refocus and Reset, you don’t want to find yourself in that place for an extended period of time. So my goal today is to tell you too Get Back Out There. There’s more to accomplish – Folks that you still need to impact – Projects and Ideas that you still need to start and finish.

We’re in the final stretch of 2018. You’ll miss it if you don’t have expectations set for the remainder of the year. What is your WHY? Is it time to Reassess where you are and Re-evaluate where you’re going? What are you committed to completing in the next month or so? What areas need to be closed or completed before years end?

Enter 2019 refreshed and focused on that which you are called to and none other. Yes ma’am, I said it. Commit to nothing else but that which you are called too, lest you’ll find yourself moving counter-productive to the goal/vision/dream because you’re focusing on those things that you are NOT called too or sitting in a place of pity for too long.

Lastly, I noticed quite a few new contacts on the list. If you’re one of them, welcome and I’m glad to have you. I’m hopeful that you’ll continue to join me as I provide content on all things Marketplace. I’m confident that something will be shared which will be beneficial to you and your goals.

Be found Faithful

Be Found Faithful

Hey Folks – Its been a while. I’ve been pondering what to write and wanted to ensure that what I penned had context and would be relevant to where I believe many find themselves in this season. So as I sit and think about where I myself, am – desire to be – journeying towards, etc., I had to ask myself and now I ask you. Can you be found faithful?

Can you be found faithful to your assignment until God opens the door, elevates you, moves you, etc. Faithful to your present call?

Lets take a look at David. When David was anointed as King, he was found faithful in his present place until God deemed fit to move him into Kingship. David spent over a decade more in the field, tending to the sheep. (The issues, the challenges, the fight, ALL preceded the actual arrival that The Place). As a matter of fact, Samuel in his own thinking on who’d be anointed King, looked at the outer stature of David’s brothers. God had to reveal to Samuel that: man looks at the outer appearance, but God looks on the heart. Jesse presented to Samuel all of his sons, with the exception of David. When the oil didn’t flow on any of the brothers presented, Samuel had to ask “Is There Another”? — Could you be the other? Are you what man didn’t see fit to appoint, but God still opened the door and favored you?

Many of you may feel overlooked. You may feel like you’re not capable. You may feel ill-equipped. But I submit to you today to be found faithful to your call. That vision, dream, business, family, business, education, etc., Wherever you have been assigned to accomplish or complete a thing, be found faithful until God opens the next door. There is someone who has need of you and your gift. And they themselves might ask “Is There Another” and that other will be YOU!!

Be faithful where you are and to where you are assigned, so that when your name is called, your ticket is pulled, or your name is picked — you will have been found faithful and Ready for Your Next Place.

If that’s where you are or where you’ve found yourself in times past, here are a few steps on staying the course and keeping yourself on track.

While you wait:
(1) Trust God in the “Process”
(2) Have an attitude of Gratitude
(3) Encourage yourself in The Lord

Transition – Grace – Favor

Happy New Year Folks… YES – I know we’re well into January and I’m just finding the time to reach out and wish you a Happy New Year. But, there have been sooo many wonderful, awesome and magnificent things going on that I wanted to wait and reach out once all the happenings began to settle.

As we continue on into this New Year, there are 3 distinct words that I hear the Lord saying. (1) Transition (2) Grace (3) Favor.

Here’s the deal.

Transition – Many of you are in a period of transition. Transition will have a similar meaning for some and a totally different meaning for others. Transition of location, jobs, education, friendships, networks, duties, roles, and responsibilities. I see a great shift that is upon the body of Christ as God is setting pace and order in the Kingdom for His mandate, precepts and agenda to be carried out. For some, this transition will appear unsettling because while you can sense that this is God’s doing, it’s a place of unbalance as you continue trying to gain greater understanding from the place of your flesh. As you dig deeper into the spirit, you’ll begin to see God’s plans and purposes unfold. God says, seek my face, have faith that this is by My will and you shall see the outworking and its purpose in days to come. Isaiah 55:8-9 (ESV) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Grace – God says there is great grace upon you in this season to operate at full capacity. To whom much is given that much more and then some is required. God says for many of you more is required. You will orchestrate from many realms and from several spheres says God and even as you orchestrate from these places, know that My Hand is upon you and I have granted the Grace (flexibility, time, strength. & fortitude) to complete all.

Favor – God says promotion does not come from the East or the West but from above. In this season you will see doors open that are impossible unto man. Know that these are My doors and you shall surely walk through in this season. As you enter the door know that you are required to reach back and strengthen your brother. This door will allow you to dominate and orchestrate from your mountain of influence and even as you do so, know that the door is not solely for you, but for the many that will come to be saved and learn more of me. Strengthen, aide, and assist your brother says God. Philippians 2:4 (ESV) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

In closing, I’m excited about what God is doing. I literally just finished my dissertation and have been given the nod to defend it within the next few weeks. It’s Already Done.. My God is awesome – more on that later.

You’ll hear more from me in the coming months, as we are full speed ahead preparing for our “Strategies 2 Success” tour this year in Chicago and Birmingham.

It’s Time To Reassess

It’s Time To Reassess

Hey there.. It’s been a few weeks and I wanted to reach out to see how things are going for you and yours.

Hear This – So, I’m penning this newsletter from the sauna. Yes, the sauna. I’ve been soooooo busy. Faith, Family, Fitness. Finances. To have balance and be FRUITFUL in all of those areas, you have to first be FUELED!!! You see many people run themselves ragged until they literally despise the area in which they are called. You begin to think you somehow missed it. You haven’t missed it, you need to recharge, reflect and reinvest in your call. You can then refocus and get your PASSION back.

I took a month off and began to reflect on areas in my life that needed fine-tuning. I spent some time in Alabama and connected with friends and family. While there, there were times when I felt like I was still busying myself when I had committed to relax. I’m back in Chicago now and have two weeks before I’m actively re-engaged in “ALL” things.

What am I saying to you? We’re closing out July, the 7th month. What are you committed to completing in the next few days? What areas need to be closed or completed before months end? Also, as we enter August, enter refreshed and focused on that which you are called to and none other. Yes ma’am, I said it. Commit to nothing else but that which you are called too, lest you find yourself moving counter-productive to the goal/vision/dream because you’re focusing on those things that you are NOT called to.

The Weight of the Weight

Can you handle your assignment?

Many of us have God given visions and dreams that have yet to manifest. And even those that have manifested are not fully developed due to a myriad of complexities. I come to you today to ask, “Can you handle the weight of the weight?” Can you handle your assignment? Can you handle what it would take to get you from where you are to where you are destined to be?

By weight, I mean the very thing that God has called you to. He designed it specifically for you, but where you are now, where you find your self today, I ask – can you handle it?

Not just in your job, or via your academic path, but many live in fragmented homes, charred with smoldering wood pieces of divorce, financial issues, issues in your health, etc. Many of these issues, the enemy would use to keep you from your destined place. If the enemy can get you to focus more on looking good externally, than your internal home, you’ll live a life of being dressed up on the outside but messed up internally. If he can get your focus off of eating healthy, balanced meal portions, then he can lure you into the trap of obesity, too tired to care for your family or your home, too worn-out and exhausted to make it to the gym. Once lured there, its quite possible to become entrapped with a diagnosis of hypertension or diabetes, ailments that have trampled your bloodline for years only for you to succumb to the same. “Can you handle The Weight of the Weight?”

If he can get you in your business, not to write the business plan, not to take the step to launching out in faith and trusting in HIM, you’ll always be left with “What If”…

So my question to you today is: Can you handle the Weight of the Weight?

Various Fields – Many are called to various places. You may find yourself in Senior Management in Corporate America, an Entrepreneur, marriage, single parenthood, educator, attending school or a combination of them all. The questions are – Do you know where you are assigned to be? Can you handle what it takes to get there and to keep yourself there until the next season? I believe that you can. God would not have given you the vision, the idea, the ability if you weren’t able to handle it. However, many times we need a bit of a nudge or assistance in getting there.

Trust God in this season and cast your cares on Him. Have a quiet resolve that He knows exactly where you are and what it will take to get you to where you need to be. Seek Him for the assignment on your life, knowing that everyone is assigned not to the same but according to his or her own ability. I look forward to hearing testimonies on the manifestation of greatness and fulfillment in your life. Know that we are in a season of instruction and direction. As you hear Him provide instruction, move accordingly.

Don’t Let Others Hinder Your Progress

TGIF – (Thank God I’m FREE). What has God planted in your heart but you find yourself afraid of what others will think? Don’t let others hinder your progress. And who made them the final say anyway? God has the final say!!

THIS IS YOUR SEASON to RESET — Reset in your family, marriage, children, finances, business, school – whatever concerns you —— RESET.

It’s okay to hit Reset. To “Reset” means to set again, to start anew. And if you’re honest with yourself, some of the challenges that have been before you knocked your socks off.   You got off focus – you went back to binge drinking – went back to smoking – went back to sleeping around – stop working out – stop caring – you stop running after God, and even though you knew that wasn’t your God ordained position, it felt better. Why? Because it satisfied your flesh and it numbed you from the reality of the pain before you.  But if you could ever get in your mind the things that God has in store for those who Love HIM and take Him at His Word – His Promises for You WOULD KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!! God says GET UP and GO.

We are in a fruitful season and God says GET UP and GO!! Go with God not with people. People are fickle, their ways are fickle, the wind blows one way and when it shifts so will the fair-weather friends around you.  Go With God.

What am I saying? Yes, there are many for you in this season, but there comes a place where you have to Cut Away from that which means you “No Good.” Who are you around? Who’s in your circle? Are they speaking life or wishing death? Are they pushing you into your NEW or pulling you back into your past? Don’t let fear rule, for who ever God removes He will replace with those who want to see the best in you.  Trust Him.

Don’t live a life through the lens of your past mistakes, God says GET UP and Go and do it Now. And as you Get Up, He will supply EVERY Need!  Don’t Believe Me? Just Watch.

So as we make ready to enter into this 3^rd month of 2014, where are you? What have you taken ahold of? Live Your Dreams, Live Your Best Life Now! Yes, starting isn’t easy, but it was never planned for it to be easy.  Anything worth having will require something of you.  Reach into that child, that youth, that young man or woman and live the dream that God planted in you. I’m not talking ministry. I’m talking your gift, your talent, your dream – for that is ministry, your service to others – whether its owning a business, finishing school, whatever it may be —- God says Get Up and Go… Run after it with all your strength and He Will Supply Every Need.

2Chron 20:20 Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” (NIV)

Marketplace Manifestation – A Season of More than Enough

A Season of More Than Enough

Hey there – I pray all is well with you and yours.

Where has the year gone? At one point it feels as if we just entered2013 and on the other, reality shows we are on our way into 2014.

So what will you do with this new season or new year that you’ll find yourself in? I’m sure that many of you feel like you have not moved, that there isn’t new upon us, but Amos 3:7 tells us that “Surely, the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plans to His servants, the prophets (NIV).  As a Marketplace Prophet and being at the very pulse of what God is doing in the Marketplace, it is imperative that you hear me. “We are in a Shift.”  And unless you take a hold of the shift, you shall surely miss what is upon us.

God has really been speaking to many of His Prophets about this new place. He recently gave me an assignment to conduct a study on Rehoboth. And if any of you are aware, in summary – it was a place where after digging several wells to no avail, Isaac finally“Struck Gold.” (See Gen 26). After digging several wells, Isaac reached the place of Release.  Rehoboth is a broad place, a place of “flourishing” a place of expansion where the enemy can’t steal what has been given – it’s inherited land. Can you imagine that?After so long, you get weary, you want to give up, you feel nobody believes and there are some days you don’t even believe. But if you can keep at it, endure and persevere, knowing that we are at a Turn, don’t give up now – as we have entered into a season of“Release.” This Release has started happening for some of you and some of you are yet waiting on it, but God says WAIT. Believe, for surely the turn is Here.  This is NOT the time to give up, it’s not the time to turn back and please whatever you do, Don’t Throw in the Towel.

So the question is: What is your location? Do you find yourselfpositioned for increase, believing and trusting or are you at the brink of giving up. Whatever you do, don’t throw in the towel, for the tide is turning in your FAVOR…

Even Me Lord – Even Now!!!

Hello Out There. I hope all is well with you. Its been a busy month, and I’m heading over to Florida to the “Tried Through the Fire – Prophetic Convocation” where I am one of the candidates that will ordained as a Prophet by the Presbytery and lead Prophetess and Founder of The Global Institute of Church and Marketplace Prophets, Prophetess Dwann Rollinson. I’m extremely humbled, excited and in amazement that God would see fit to use me for His Glory. So pray for us all as we travel to Jacksonville, FL for a weekend of High Praise.

Before I head out, I wanted to get this in your hands. God has really been dealing with me on finances, order and the Kingdom. With that being said, I invited Minister Sonya Thompson from Florida, an awesome woman of God and Marketplace Minister to give us some insight on “Strategies 2 Success” in our finances. How can we get it right and what can we do to hit the “reset” button in our finances. For some it will be easier than others but I guarantee you – she has keen insight on this subject matter and has a checkbook to show it (smile). Let us hear what God would speak through His vessel.

Even Me Lord – Even Now!!! – Minister Sonya Thompson

Did you know that regardless of your current financial situation it’s still possible to begin again? It doesn’t matter how impossible your situation may look, I can promise you based on the integrity of the Word of God, that “even now,” you can expect and experience a financial resurrection in 2014.

In John 11, we see the account of the death of Lazarus. When Jesus comes to the region of Bethany, Martha runs out to greet Him and she said unto Jesus in verses twenty-one and twenty-two, “… if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.” When Jesus saw her faith He told her that her brother would rise again. Though she did not understand it right away by the time Jesus was done speaking to her, Martha understood He meant her brother would experience the resurrection, right now!

I want to encourage you to expect a “right now” financial resurrection for 2014. Say this with me, “even now.” Declare this daily no matter what you see, “even now.” Here are five financial principles to put in place if you desire to experience a financial resurrection in 2014.

1. Commit Yourself to the Kingdom Economy-
Make a decision to focus on the Kingdom economy-(God’s way of being a doing right) in 2014. Get your eyes off of the world’s economy. Tithing and giving is the foundation of the Kingdom economy.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).

2. Make Every Effort to Become Totally Debt Free-
Seek the Holy Spirit for a plan to take you out of the world’s system of debt.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law (Romans 13:8).

3. Be a Good Steward Over What God Gives You-
Make a decision to manage your finances. Know what is coming in and what is going out. Write out your financial plan.

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2).

4. Understand the Value of Money-
Money has a greater use than just as a means to provide for our families. Money is a tool, a weapon, and an answer for all things, when it is used appropriately.

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence.. (Ecclesiastes 7:12).

A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things (Ecclesiastes 10:19).

5. Save Ten Percent of Everything You Earn-
If this is not attainable right now, then save SOMETHING! Even if it’s $5 per week, make a commitment to start saving. You trade forty plus hours every week for money, so you deserve to be paid too.

May the blessing of the Lord flood your finances in 2014!
