It’s been a busy two weeks. We just came off of an awesome event on June 21st where we partnered with the City of Markham and Mayor David Webb, Jr.. We had a knowledgable team on hand to impart into the participants “Strategies 2 Success” in many area of their lives. Our keynote speaker at the event, was none other than Yolanda “YoYo” Whitaker. You may remember her as Hip Hop Female Pioneer “YoYo’ or for her work on the television show “Martin.” Yolanda played “Keylolo”, the sidekick of none other than “Sheneneh.” She has a host of other projects that she has been involved in and continues to pave the way for other females in Arts & Entertainment. It was a pleasure to meet her and hear her story on “Success” and her heart on her involvement with the youth. To all who came out, THANKS.

As we close the month of June, I wanted to be sure to send you out a note that would prepare you for this next season. Many of you have dreams that are hidden inside of you. Words that have been spoken that have yet to manifest. I come to tell you this is your season. — Walk It Out. No mumbling, no grumbling, He’s preparing you for Greater. Stop shedding tears, see the bigger picture – THIS IS YOUR TRAINING GROUND. Get up and Work.

You have Work to do and it’s time to get involved in the work. WHY you may ask? Because there is someone else that has need of you. Of your time, your gift and your talent. Who are you investing in? What work have you undertaken? Don’t Get Weary in THE WORK. To Whom Much is Given – That Much More and Then Some is REQUIRED….

John 10:10 tells us that: The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But our God, has come to give you life and life more abundantly. Someone else is tied to your “More Abundantly.”

Take a moment to scan your life. What’s going on? What’s Good? What’s Bad? In All Things – Give Thanks….. Let me say it AGAIN – He’s preparing you for GREATER. Stop shedding tears, see the bigger picture – THIS IS YOUR TRAINING GROUND. Get up and Work.

In closing – this wasn’t intended to be a long message. It was intended to put matters into perspective. Get busy and don’t quit. Place yourself around others that speak life into you and you reciprocate. Earlier this year God showed me that this was a year of Rehoboth (Gen 26:22). You’ve been toiling and digging to no avail. God says to praise Him in the midst of it all and watch this next “well” spring forth a Blessing that you will not have room enough to receive it. Invest in the life of another. Someone is watching you. Someone needs you. If you allow the enemy to get you to focus on the problem, you’ll never make it to the promise. GET UP and GET TO WORK…

Well – Don’t Just Stand There

Hey there – I pray all is well with you and yours.

Where has the year gone?  At one point it feels as if we just entered2013 and on the other, reality shows we are on our way into 2014.

So what will you do with this new season or new year that you’ll find yourself in?  I’m sure that many of you feel like you have not moved, that there isn’t new upon us, but Amos 3:7 tells us that “Surely, the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plans to His servants, the prophets (NIV).  As a Marketplace Prophet and being at the very pulse of what God is doing in the Marketplace, it is imperative that you hear me.  “We are in a Shift.”  And unless you take a hold of the shift, you shall surely miss what is upon us.

God has really been speaking to many of His Prophets about this new place.  He recently gave me an assignment to conduct a study on Rehoboth.  And if any of you are aware, in summary – it was a place where after digging several wells to no avail, Isaac finally“Struck Gold.”  (See Gen 26).  After digging several wells, Isaac reached the place of Release.  Rehoboth is a broad place, a place of “flourishing” a place of expansion where the enemy can’t steal what has been given – it’s inherited land.  Can you imagine that?After so long, you get weary, you want to give up, you feel nobody believes and there are some days you don’t even believe.  But if you can keep at it, endure and persevere, knowing that we are at a Turn, don’t give up now – as we have entered into a season of“Release.”  This Release has started happening for some of you and some of you are yet waiting on it, but God says WAIT.  Believe, for surely the turn is Here.  This is NOT the time to give up, it’s not the time to turn back and please whatever you do, Don’t Throw in the Towel.

So the question is: What is your location? Do you find yourselfpositioned for increase, believing and trusting or are you at the brink of giving up.  Whatever you do, don’t throw in the towel, for the tide is turning in your FAVOR…

Before I head out, I wanted to get this in your hands.  God has really been dealing with me on finances, order and the Kingdom.  With that being said, I invited Minister Sonya Thompson from Florida, an awesome woman of God and Marketplace Minister to give us some insight on “Strategies 2 Success” in our finances.  How can we get it right and what can we do to hit the “reset” button in our finances.  For some it will be easier than others but I guarantee you – she has keen insight on this subject matter and has a checkbook to show it (smile).  Let us hear what God would speak through His vessel.

Even Me Lord – Even Now!!! – Minister Sonya Thompson

Did you know that regardless of your current financial situation it’s still possible to begin again? It doesn’t matter how impossible your situation may look, I can promise you based on the integrity of the Word of God, that “even now,” you can expect and experience a financial resurrection in 2014.

In John 11, we see the account of the death of Lazarus. When Jesus comes to the region of Bethany, Martha runs out to greet Him and she said unto Jesus in verses twenty-one and twenty-two, “… if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.” When Jesus saw her faith He told her that her brother would rise again. Though she did not understand it right away by the time Jesus was done speaking to her, Martha understood He meant her brother would experience the resurrection, right now!

I want to encourage you to expect a “right now” financial resurrection for 2014. Say this with me, “even now.” Declare this daily no matter what you see, “even now.” Here are five financial principles to put in place if you desire to experience a financial resurrection in 2014.

1. Commit Yourself to the Kingdom Economy-
Make a decision to focus on the Kingdom economy-(God’s way of being a doing right) in 2014. Get your eyes off of the world’s economy. Tithing and giving is the foundation of the Kingdom economy.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).

2. Make Every Effort to Become Totally Debt Free-
Seek the Holy Spirit for a plan to take you out of the world’s system of debt.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law (Romans 13:8).

3. Be a Good Steward Over What God Gives You-
Make a decision to manage your finances. Know what is coming in and what is going out. Write out your financial plan.

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2).

4. Understand the Value of Money-
Money has a greater use than just as a means to provide for our families. Money is a tool, a weapon, and an answer for all things, when it is used appropriately.

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence.. (Ecclesiastes 7:12).

A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things (Ecclesiastes 10:19).

5. Save Ten Percent of Everything You Earn-
If this is not attainable right now, then save SOMETHING! Even if it’s $5 per week, make a commitment to start saving. You trade forty plus hours every week for money, so you deserve to be paid too.

May the blessing of the Lord flood your finances in 2014!

So we find ourselves at the end of August, four months before 2014 – and the question is “Are You Intentional?”

I love the month of August, because August is indicative of a New Beginning.  When you research the number “Eight” scripturally, you’ll find the number assigned to “new” or “beginning again”.

As we make our way closer to 2014, I want to put this thought on your mind.  “Are You Intentional?”.  Intentional is defined as: to be done by design or intended, purposeful, deliberate or calculated.  2012 was a year of order and restructuring for many.  We saw many areas of our lives shaken as we were tested and strengthened in the Lord.   As we entered into 2013, a year of Manifestation and Open Doors – many were excited to exit the old and enter the new, but many have gotten weary and lost their way.  Which means in a year of “Open Doors” and season of “Manifestation” many have lost their way because they haven’t been diligent in applying the work required (Intentional Pursuit).

So the question today is: Are you intentional in your pursuit of: building a better marriage, intentional in your pursuit for better health, financial success, business success or even success in your singleness?  I ask you this because where ever you apply effort and where ever you are deliberate in your pursuit is where you’ll find success.

For the remainder of this year, lets make certain that we are intentional in our pursuit in whatever area God lays on your heart.  If it’s to lose more weight – make healthier eating choices, join a gym or add more days into your current regimen.  If its financial success – cut back on eating out or find areas that you can trim in your budget so that you can add more to your savings.  If that doesn’t work, perhaps picking up part-time work will assist in adding more income or paying off bills faster.  Your marriage – have a date night, speak positive affirmations, remember what about this person caused you to fall in love in the first place.  Singleness – Have a group of friends that hold you accountable, require more and maybe even perhaps give more, change your standards, build your self-confidence.  Whatever area it is – BE INTENTIONAL.

I wanted to send you a quick note on a word that God dropped in my spirit that was a message intended not only for me, but also for the masses.

The Word is Don’t Quit.

Here’s why.  I just concluded a call with my professor from post-grad school.  For those of you who don’t know, I am working on my Doctorate in Public Administration.  This fall, I will enter the final stage in this process, which requires the writing and publishing of my dissertation.  (Hear Me Out – There is a Point)..  This past 10 weeks have been the most grueling, challenging and laborious 10 weeks I’ve ever experienced in academia with requirements of research papers every 2 weeks on scientific methodologies and action research.  I spent many nights in tears asking myself – is it really worth it?  I questioned if I had even acquired the skills needed to stand before a committee and defend my research.  I questioned it ALL….  I’m sure my husband and kids thought that I had lost my mind.  And sometimes I even felt that if I hadn’t lost my mind, I was sure on my way to losing it…  But wait…

I received a phone call today from my professor.  On the other end of the line, I hear “job well done.”

What a great feeling to speak with your professor in one of the most challenging seasons I had ever had academically, and hear him say “job well done.”  He went on the say that he could definitely see a vast difference in my scholarly writing style since the beginning of class and that I had used thoughtful consideration and applied critical thinking skills in my research.  This last 10 weeks has been quite the experience, but one that I wouldn’t change for the world. I was acquiring a skill for FUTURE USE. 

What does this mean to you?  I believe that God has allowed you to open this up, read it to this very point to know that this applies to you as well.  Don’t Quit.  What is it that you are working to accomplish?  Are you confronted with issues in your marriage, singleness, family, school, business or work?  The very challenges that come to break you will MAKE YOU when you Don’t Quit.  You are being stretched for your ASSIGNMENT..

Trust God in the process.  Don’t get weary in the battle saints, for you shall reap if you faint not.  Lean not to your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all your ways and He shall direct your path. The very challenge sent to make you weary is actually strengthening your faith, allowing you to trust more, and press in to Him.  Don’t Quit

Anything worth having will take your blood, sweat, and tears.  I know, because in this moment of transparency, I can humbly say that I almost gave up.  But my inner man wouldn’t let me quit.

I leave you with this – whatever you have in front of you – though it may challenge you – Don’t take short cuts!  Follow through in your marriage, family, ministry, business, health and education and any other area that you have confronting you now.  In this journey, I believe that He’ll send messengers – just as He sent my professor & just and He sent me to you to say “Job Well Done”…  Don’t Quit – Keep going.

Hey there,

So it’s been an official week since we met at Friday Night Fire – The Marketplace Edition.  It was a powerful time with Prophetess Dwann and Prophetess Tera Carissa Hodges on Friday’s service titled “Let me show you how to kill it.” Prophetess Tera gave us powerful truths on following basic instruction.

To be honest with you, following basic instruction seems pretty basic doesn’t it?  Well what it seems is not what it is.  At times we can get so caught up in the BIG that we forget the small.  In all the uproar and chaos it was God that spoke to Prophet Elijah in a “small still voice.”

  Are you listening for the small in the chaos of the BIG?

I sooooo enjoyed myself on Saturday alongside Pastor Wyman at the Strategies 2 Success workshop.  My hopes are that you came away with an increased level of knowledge on starting, expanding or repositioning your business.

So it’s been a week, and I ask you this: What have you taken away from what was taught and implemented into your business model?  Here’s a tip that I’ll share again:

1. Start with short term objectives to accomplish your long-term goals. At the close of the week create a “to do” list of items that you’d like to close out the week ahead. Identify a day or an hour or a series of days in the coming week to work on these items and check them off your list.   Stick to these goals and you’ll be successful in whatever projects you have on your plate.

God has given us all that we need to succeed in this life. His word says that He will supply our every need and will do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think.  Seek Him first and all else will be provided.

In this season many doors have been opened, but these doors require something of you.  The Shift is taking place, and the DOOR Is WIDE OPEN.  Ensure that you have your armor on because its going to take your “strength, endurance & perseverance” to get through the straight and narrow door.

DOORS are Open For ACCESS to ALL that have been inquiring of God. However, the Door is open but narrow if you can picture that.  It’s wide (many blessings are through the door) but allows only those who will fight to enter in (narrow). Meaning that we need to have on our full armor (Eph 6:11) to access some of the blessings. The word tells us in Matt 11:12 that the Kingdom of God suffereth Violence but the Violent take it by force.  A door can be open but the enemy will try to place distraction, discontent, and disruption at the door. We have to know that it’s an OPEN DOOR Season but we must be willing to pray, even sometimes fast in order to access the things of God. THESE ARE ALL GOOD DOORS…. Anything worth having will take Blood, sweat and tears.  John 10:10 reads, The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I, The Lord Your God, have come to give you life, and Life More Abundantly.

These OPEN Doors require more faith, more fire and more fervency. They require you to reach back and pull someone else along.  They require you to be your brother and your sisters keeper.  What is life if we aren’t using it for the greater good of the Kingdom and using the Word and Gods principles to shape and mold the lives of others.  In order to obtain the goods, something more is required of you.  More Faith, More Fire, More Fervency.  Aid in the shaping of others and He will aid in the shaping of you.

Fight the Good Fight of Faith and Be Diligent in This Season.

Timing is everything.

In this season of governmental order, perfection and establishment , Doors are open for all who will receive and walk through. Opposition will present itself but I have not given you the spirit of fear, I formed you for dominion. Walk in that dominion now and know that I have sent a select few to help guide you through this process. Know that where you are going they have been and through this process, breakthrough shall occur for all.  As they bring you through they will be brought through their own processes.  This is a season of divine relationships and covenants being strengthened.  Know who you are and who God would have you attached too.

In this season – even as doors are opened – there will be a refining process.  The process will be likened unto a consuming fire brought to purge and remove everything that is not useful.  Fearless Faith is needed to walk through the open door, but even as you apply your Faith, know that perfection and refining is at work.  In some cases, this will require a change of environment, change of mindset, change of attitude and change of heart.  This also requires Perseverance, Endurance and Tenacity.  Humility shall be your response in order to obtain the Goods.  The fight is in the spiritual but playing out in the natural, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood.  Through it all, God is setting you in a wealthy place to aide and assist the masses.  In this season, what you do unto your brother, you do unto God. Watch your response – even when it appears to be right.  God has your back, He is your refuge and your strength,  a very present help in the time of need.

Your Time, Your Season, Your Moment.. Now!!!
